Hi, I’m Cassandra—a mom navigating this rollercoaster we call motherhood.
You can find me hunkered down in Canada raising an almost one-year-old and a three-year-old, usually with a cup of lukewarm milk or tea and someone asking me for a snack. When I’m not at home with my littles, I’m a high school teacher—so life is rarely quiet, but never boring.
My littles make sure I experience everything from the messy to the magical that comes with this stage of life.
I’ve never really fit into just one version of motherhood. I started Scrunchy Maple Mamas as a space to share my experiences—hoping other moms might see themselves in some of it too.
If you’re looking for real-life Canadian motherhood with a touch of “scrunchy,” you’re in the right place. Here, I share simple, realistic ways to make life feel a little slower, calmer, and more intentional—without the pressure to be perfect or do everything “right.”
I’m not here to tell you what’s right or wrong, or to pretend I have it all figured out. Motherhood is messy—I’m just sharing what works for me (and what definitely doesn’t).
If you’re still figuring it all out while raising littles, you’re in the right place. I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope you’ll stay and be part of the Scrunchy Maple Mamas community.
